SERIES DESCRIPTION

The Warner Electric FB Series Electrically Released Brakes provide high-performance dynamic stopping and reliable fail-safe holding. Utilizing powerful permanent magnets, the brake engages automatically when power is removed. Applying 90 VDC to the coil nullifies the magnetic field, allowing the shaft to rotate freely.

The 5390-170-021 is a 90 VDC unit specifically configured with a 5/8″ bore. This packaged brake assembly is ready to install and is commonly utilized in high-cycle applications such as conveyors, elevators, and emergency stopping systems.
