SERIES DESCRIPTION

The Warner Electric FB Series Electrically Released Brakes utilize permanent magnet technology to provide reliable, fail-safe braking. The brake remains engaged until 24 VDC is applied to the electromagnetic coil, creating an opposing magnetic field that releases the armature.

The 5390-170-024 is a 24 VDC unit specifically configured with a 1/2″ bore. This model provides the same high-cycle performance and reliability as the rest of the FB-375 series but is tailored for smaller 0.500-inch shafts typically found on smaller motors or specialized drive components.
