SERIES DESCRIPTION

The Warner Electric FB Series Electrically Released Brakes utilize permanent magnet technology to provide reliable, fail-safe braking. The brake remains engaged until 90 VDC is applied to the electromagnetic coil, which creates an opposing magnetic field to release the armature.

The 5391-170-009 is an FB-475 model size, offering double the torque of the 375 series. Configured with a 1-inch bore, this 90V unit is built for heavier industrial loads that require fail-safe protection and high-cycle reliability.
