SERIES DESCRIPTION

The Warner Electric FB Series Electrically Released Brakes provide robust, fail-safe braking using permanent magnet technology. The brake is held in the engaged position by magnets until 6 VDC is applied to the coil, creating an opposing field that releases the armature.

The 5392-170-010 is a heavy-duty FB-650 model size. With 56 lb. ft. of static torque, this unit is designed for significant industrial loads. The 1-inch bore allows it to mount directly to larger motor shafts, providing reliable emergency stopping and holding power.

Installation Note
