The Warner Electric 5370-273-238 is a Size 180 Smooth-Start™ UniModule. This pre-assembled clutch/brake package is engineered specifically for applications requiring “soft engagement” to protect sensitive products and mechanical components from the harsh shock of standard engagement.

By utilizing specialized LK friction material, the 5370-273-238 provides reduced torque for a less aggressive engagement. This allows for longer slip times during starts and stops without the significant loss of service life typically associated with standard friction materials.
