The Warner Electric UM Series UniModule line features completely pre-assembled, one-piece clutch and clutch/brake packages engineered for high-performance installation convenience. Factory pre-aligned and pre-burnished to deliver full rated dynamic torque right out-of-the-box, these enclosed, maintenance-free units easily mount to standard NEMA C-face motors and reducers or operate as separate freestanding drive units via an accessory base. For sensitive mechanical systems requiring soft engagements, the series includes Smooth-Startâ„¢ options utilizing specialized friction materials to minimize mechanical shock and protect delicate machine components.
